The France team has achieved a 0-0 draw against Uruguay in the first match in Group A of the World 2010.
The Blues realize their third consecutive goalless draw in their first competitive match after the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2008. The lights were not at fault at this meeting where it showed some good things, without being transcendent. Uruguay, meanwhile, tried to play each shot to the bottom, is creating some opportunities through Diego Forlan in particular.
By the end of games, the Blues found themselves at 11 against 10 following the expulsion of Nicolas Lodeiro late in the game (81st). They then tried to push, putting a proper pressure without realizing their domination.
After the first day in group A, the status quo complete since each team has a point. France is third in the group with Uruguay as the two teams did not score a goal instead of South Africa and Mexico.
Tomorrow, the matches of Group B will take place and the first match of Group C.
