Libellés : World Cup
The Italian back Fabio Cannavaro would prefer that Italy is not among the favorites in the World Cup, next to Spain or Brazil, to play more calmly and to make beautiful games.
Cannavaro has expressed his views in an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport. He talked about the state of affairs of the team coached by Marcello Lippi and timeliness of international football. "It would have been much better if we are not favorites. For me, the real favorites are Brazil, Spain, England, Argentina and Germany ", said the captain of the Squadra Azzurra.
Cannavaro believes that the experience gained by the team of "veterans" could give more value to the competition and Italy have the chance to win the trophy for second consecutive time.
